Text message opt-in
SMS Consent
Hive Workforce may send optional text messages to workers, businesses, and homeowners who choose to receive them. Consent is not required to create or use a Hive Workforce account.
The exact opt-in experience
During signup and in account settings, users see this exact disclosure next to an unchecked checkbox. They must tap or click the checkbox to opt in.
No account requirement
You can sign up, post jobs, apply to work, hire, and receive payments without ever opting in to SMS.
Phone number is not consent
Having a mobile number on file does not automatically opt you in. You must check the box yourself.
Opt out any time
Reply STOP to any text message to stop. You can also turn SMS off in your account settings at any time.
Reply HELP
Reply HELP to any message for help, or contact us at support@thehiveworkforce.com.
